Buick Car

Buick has its head quarters at Detroit, Michigan in U.S and is a division of General Motors and captured markets of United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Taiwan and Israel. Buick was founded in 1903 by founder David Dunbar Buick and products mainly are luxury vehicles. Buick is one of the oldest automobile company known as Buick Auto-Vim and power company which focused on the manufacture of motor car and internal combustion engine. The first Buick was Model B made in 1904 at Flint, Michigan where 37 Buick were made during that year.

The success of Buick Model B continued till 1909 for its power train and chassis architecture. Buick was made with today's standards with flat twin engine, torque for chassis in longitude to prevent producing undesirable lateral motion. In 1911, the first closed body car was introduced and launched Marquette sister brand to bridge the gap between Buick and Oldsmobile. The sale of Buick increased in 1984 with model like Buick Regal and Oldsmobile cutlass supreme which was newer, performance oriented and turbocharged. Buick Regal Grand National was equipped with 3.8L V-6 engine with a turbocharger and had fastest production. Buick focused on the safety and comfort where its competitor Cadillac emphasied on performance oriented and style.

In 2001 Buick introduced its first SUV the Buick Rendezvous crossover was a success in the market by attracting younger and wealthy buyers in the Buick showrooms which raised the competition compared with Acura MDX and Lexus RX300 exceeding the sales to a large margin. Buick introduced its 2010Lacrosse sedan with all new styling which was appraised by the critics, auto journalists and satisfied owners. In 2009 Buick tied with Jaguar as the most dependable brand and surprised by revealing its sales which was grown upto 60.8% making Buick as the fastest growing brand in the market.

Buick also announced its future line up Lacrosse and Lucerne model which will continue the Buick's luxury market level. The Regal was re introduced with strong demand with a manual transmission and a turbocharger. Buick also hinted its two concept cars the Buick Verano acompact sedan and an unnamed small crossover which will be expected to hit the markets in 2013-14. Currently the popular Buick line up consists of the Regal, Lacrosse, Lucerne full sized luxury sedan and enclave full sized luxury crossover with their future vehicles Buick Verano, thr Riviera a sports vehicle which are facing the ever increasing demands in the market all over the world.
